Currently Micromax MMX352G modem doesn’t support windows 8 by default, but there is a workaround for this.
Now you will be able to successfully connect to internet.
- Insert the MMX352G modem in usb slot, Then it will ask to tap or click the message that appears.
- Click the message, it will show various options, Do not autorun, click onopen folder in windows explorer.
- Now right click on showmodem.exe and select properties, then click oncompatibility tab.
- select windows 7 in run this program in compatibility mode for and check the check box of run this program as administrator. Click on ok.
- Now double click or run the showmodem.exe and install the drivers.
- Restart your computer.
- Again insert your modem in usb slot and run the MMX352G usb manager.
- Now open device manager and uninstall the following devices.
- Uninstall Mobile connector (Modem)
- Uninstall Device Application Interface (Ports)
- Uninstall Device Diagnostic Interface (Ports)
- Uninstall Device Pipe (Ports)
- After uninstalling check for hardware changes and restart MMX352G usb manager.
